The ground-breaking concept of online publishing is developed by Elsevier Science through Electrochemistry Communications.Electrochemistry Communications is an entirely new letters journal providing fast dissemination of short communications covering the whole field of electrochemistry. Electrochemistry Communications seeks to provide rapid publication of important and urgent communications and short papers across the broad spectrum of electrochemical research. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topics:Fundamental electrochemistryElectrode reaction mechanismsComputational and theoretical electrochemistryProperties of interfacesElectrochemical surface scienceBatteries and power sourcesOrganic and organometallic electrochemistryBioelectrochemistrySpectroelectrochemistry and sonoelectrochemistryThe journal welcomes papers of general or specialist importance which merit rapid publication to a wide audience. All papers submitted by email, if accepted, will appear in electronic form within six to eight weeks of their receipt by the editor. Submissions by fax or post are also possible.Electrochemistry Communications is part of the Electrochemistry Forum at ChemWeb. Visit http://electro.chemweb.com for online access to the list of published papers a few weeks after they have been accepted. Please note that International Society of Electrochemistry members have now the option to access the full text of the articles of Electrochemistry Communications as part of their personal subscription to Electrochimica Acta.
