这篇文献回顾的目的是通过明确的证据评估MTA在活髓保存治疗、修复表现和逆性性根管充填中的临床功效。

研究通过PubMed/MEDLINE电子数据库进行综合的文献检索和观察。研究共纳入了58篇文章,其中2篇为系统性的文献回顾/meta分析,9篇为随机对照试验(RCTs),剩下的定义为其他范畴。结果显示,MTA作为直接盖髓材料比氢氧化钙表现出对牙髓组织更好的保护作用。作为穿孔修复材料,MTA在体外表现出卓越的封闭能力。对于穿孔周围的牙周组织而言,MTA在临床试验中为其提供了正常的愈合过程。因此,可以得出结论:MTA对于修复穿孔具有较高的潜力。另外,MTA是应用于逆性性根管充填最具前景的生物材料,在长/短期临床疗效中均获得正常的愈合。
