中大医学院团队最新研究发现,四成港人肠道微生态出现失衡,情况与新冠肺炎患者类似,反映免疫力下降问题普遍。团队针对肠道微生态失衡研发出独特的「微生态免疫力配方」,临床研究显示,服用此配方的新冠患者,在多方面的表现均较没有服用配方的病人为佳。有关研究资料显示此配方能有效改善肠道微生态状况,有望提升市民的抵抗力。左起:中大医学院内科及药物治疗学系肠胃及肝脏科助理教授麦咏欣医生、中大医学院肠道微生物群研究中心副主任黄秀娟教授,以及中大医学院院长兼肠道微生物群研究中心主任陈家亮教授。

香港中文大学(中大)医学院最新研究发现,四成港人肠道微生态出现失衡,情况与新冠肺炎患者类似,反映免疫力下降问题普遍,情况值得关注。中大医学院团队针对肠道微生态失衡研发出独特的「微生态免疫力配方」,临床研究显示,服用此配方的新冠患者,在多方面的表现均较没有服用有关配方的病人为佳,包括症状痊愈、发炎指数、产生新冠病毒中和抗体、以及微生态失衡情况。有关研究数据显示此配方能有效改善肠道微生态状况,有望提升市民的抵抗力。

四成港人出现中等至严重程度的肠道微生态失衡  显示免疫力已下降

肠道微生态主宰人体免疫力以对抗病毒侵袭。当肠道微生态出现失衡,免疫力下降,便容易感染病毒或出现并发症。中大医学院早前的研究已发现新冠肺炎病人的肠道微生态严重失衡。

为了解港人的肠道微生态状况,中大医学院招募了近1,000名香港居民,年龄介乎18至83岁,发现四成人士出现中等至严重程度的肠道微生态失衡,缺少了抑制病毒的益菌,反而致病的恶菌增加,情况与新冠肺炎患者类似。

中大医学院院长兼肠道微生物群研究中心主任陈家亮教授指出:「肠道微生态失衡,是免疫力下降的重要指标。我们的研究发现,四成港人出现肠道微生态失衡,情况与新冠肺炎患者类似,表示市民大众的健康已响起警号,情况值得关注。我们必须采取行动,改善肠道微生态失衡,从而增强免疫力,抵抗如新冠肺炎的新发传染病。」

中大研发「微生态免疫力配方」促进新冠病人痊愈

中大医学院根据新冠肺炎病人的数据,利用「总体基因体学」 (Metagenomics)及「大数据分析」(Big data analysis),研发出独有的「微生态免疫力配方」,针对肠道微生态失衡问题,并透过「微胶囊技术」提升活菌量及其稳定性。临床数据显示,服用「微生态免疫力配方」的新冠肺炎病人,不论是痊愈速度、发炎指数、产生中和新冠病毒抗体、以及肠道微生态状况,均较没有服用有关配方的病人为佳。

在本港面对新冠肺炎第三波疫情期间,中大医学院研究团队招募了55位新冠肺炎住院病人参与研究,当中25位服用微生态免疫力配方,并与另外30位没有服用配方作比对,主要结果如下:

  • 两星期内,服用配方的病人,所有症状消失;而没有服用配方的一组,只有一半病人达至此效果。
  • 有服用配方的病人,更有效产生新冠病毒中和抗体(88% 对 63%)。
  • 有服用配方的病人,发炎指数明显回落。
  • 服用配方的病人,肠道微生态失衡状况改善;没有服用配方的病人则没此发现。

中大医学院肠道微生物群研究中心副主任黄秀娟教授解释:「研究结果显示,此微生态免疫力配方能透过改善新冠肺炎病人肠道微生态失衡,促进他们痊愈、增加中和抗体及提升免疫力。这些临床数据再次引证,重整肠道微生态是治疗和对抗新冠肺炎的崭新方向。」   

陈家亮教授总结:「港人肠道微生态失衡的情况普遍,显示不少市民的抵抗力下降。市面上有不少声称可提升免疫力的产品,其功效有待科研证实。临床研究显示针对肠道微生态失衡研发出来的『微生态免疫力配方』有效促进新冠患者康复,我们相信这项以科研数据为本的研究成果可提升大众市民的抵抗力。

据梅斯医学了解到香港中文大学医学院研究团队已将该结果投递至肠胃病学顶级期刊Gastroenterolgy,目前正处于同行评阅中。
