Ann Neurol:淋巴细胞计数降低与帕金森氏病风险增加有关

与对照者相比,帕金森氏病(PD)患者外周血中免疫功能生物标志物(包括白细胞差异计数)存在差异。这些差异在预测PD并阐明其发病机理中可能是具有重要临床意义的生物标志物。近日,神经病学领域权威取杂志Annals of Neurology上发表了一篇研究文章,这项研究旨在明确外周免疫失调是否与随后的PD诊断风险增加有关。

研究人员通过英国生物库中超过50万参与者的纵向队列评估了PD发生情况与基线白细胞计数以及急性炎症的其他血液标志物之间的关系。研究人员使用了一系列敏感性分析和孟德尔随机化(MR)进一步探讨了关联的性质。

在排除可能影响炎症生物标志物的合并症患者后,该研究仍保留了465例PD病例和312125例对照者。较低的淋巴细胞计数与随后的PD诊断风险增加相关(淋巴细胞计数每减少1个SD的比值比为1.18,95%CI为1.07-1.32,调整P=0.01)。有证据表明,嗜酸性粒细胞、单核细胞计数和CRP降低与PD风险增加相关,中性粒细胞计数升高也与PD风险增加相关。敏感性分析后,只有较低的淋巴细胞计数和增加的PD风险之间的关联仍然保持稳健。MR提示降低淋巴细胞计数对PD风险的影响可能为因果关系(淋巴细胞计数每降低1个SD;OR为1.09,95%CI为1.01-1.18,p=0.02)。

由此可见,淋巴细胞计数降低与随后的PD风险增加有关
