Verrica是一家皮肤病学医疗公司，致力于为皮肤病患者提供先进疗法，近日公布了其II期临床研究COVE-1的正面结果，以评估VP-102治疗常见疣的临床有效性。VP-102是一种新型局部疗法，含有0.7％斑蝥素。VP-102在第84天完全清除了所有可治疗的常见疣，VP-102耐受性良好，未报告严重不良反应事件。

斑蝥素是昆虫纲动物大斑蝥的有效成分，外用对皮肤有止痒、改善局部神经营养及刺激毛根促进毛发生长的作用。目前，育发类保健用品中斑螯素的含量测定参照<化妆品卫生规范>执行。
